PS SENSOR ERRORS
Symptom and Reason: “CHECK PS1” or “CHECK PS2” is displayed after power on.
This error is caused by PS1 and PS2 sensor problem and may be due to various reasons
including debris on the sensors and reflectors, cracked reflectors, damaged sensors,
damaged cables, poor or damage connectors, or MECHA/MAIN board issues.
5.1.
Causes and Solution: To isolate the failing component it is recommended to test the
below steps in the given order:
1. Check the sensors in Service menu
A.) Enter Service menu -> [1] Diagnosis -> [7] Sensor Detail
B.) Check ‘Upper Door’ (PS1) and ‘Lower Door’ (PS2)
C.) ‘1’ means the door is open. If all the doors are closed but the level is ‘1’,
then the sensor is not working.
