Use this menu to update the Zeus’ software following the below steps:
Copy upgrade software from http://www.cassidapro.com/
partner page to a USB memory stick (FAT32 format)
Insert the USB memory stick into the Zeus
Select [2] Program Update
Ensure the new software is highlighted using [UP]/[DOWN]
keys and press [SET]
The Zeus will load the software and reboot.
NEVER TURN OFF POWER OR REMOVE THE USB DEVICE
BEFORE SOFTWARE UPDATE HAS FULLY COMPLETED AT THE
RISK OF PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
ADJUSTMENTS
Use this menu to modulate hardware levels and calibrate the CIS sensor.
[3] Adjustment ->
[1] Wing Motor Duty
Use the arrow keys to modulate the duty cycle of the wing motor. This may be used
to synchronize an off-timing on the wing motor. A higher duty cycle translates to a
higher speed, and a lower duty cycle translates to a lower speed.
[2] Hopper Threshold
Use the arrow keys to change the sensor threshold of the hopper sensor. The
technician may view the high value by covering the hopper sensor to ensure that
the difference value is greater than the assigned threshold. Modulate the threshold
value to ensure that the difference value when the sensor is covered is greater than
the assigned threshold.
[3] Stacker Threshold
Use the arrow keys to change the sensor threshold of the stacker sensor. The
technician may view the low value by covering the stacker sensor to ensure that
the difference value is less than the assigned threshold. Modulate the threshold
value to ensure that the difference value when the sensor is covered is less than the
assigned threshold.
[4] Reject Threshold
Use the arrow keys to change the sensor threshold of the reject sensor. The
technician may view the low value by covering the reject sensor to ensure that
the difference value is less than the assigned threshold. Modulate the threshold
value to ensure that the difference value when the sensor is covered is less than the
assigned threshold.
[5] CIS Calibration (Reflected)
The CIS calibration should be done any time CIS replacement, main board
replacement, or extensive repair work is performed. In order to run this calibration,
the Cassida PRO specific shading sheet must be used. Affix the magnetic side of the
PROGRAM UPDATE 6.3.
