6. If the clamping and releasing actions are not smooth and quick, the Clamp Cylinder
should be replaced.
5.5 Clamp Exhaust Check

1. Open the rear door. The Exhaust muffler is the brass fitting located next to the air inlet on the clamp
solenoid. See Fig 6.
Air from the Clamp Cylinder is exhausted out of the Clamp Solenoid Exhaust port. This port
is located to next in the Air IN on the Clamp Solenoid Valve. If the clamp releases very
slowly, the Exhaust Muffler on the Exhaust Port may be blocked.
