Safety Precautions For Slide and Ornamental Grill Type Gates
SAFETY
To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from a moving gate:
Entrapment protection contact edge sensing device MUST be installed to protect anyone who
may come near a moving gate.
Locate entrapment protection devices to protect in BOTH the open and close gate cycles.
Locate entrapment protection devices to protect between moving gate and RIGID objects, such
as posts.
A gate shall NOT open into public access ways.
This operator is NOT intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the operator by a person responsible for their
safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT play with the operator.
