A convex mirror can make things, like
o
ther vehicles, look farther away than they
really are. If you cut too sharply into the
adjacent lane, you could hit avehicle that
is driving next to you. Check the inside
mirror or glance over your shoulder before
changing lanes.
The s
ide mirrors are convex shaped so more can
be seen from the driver’s seat.
Power Mirrors
The c
ontrol for the power mirrors are located on
the door trim beside the driver.
Select the left or the right exterior mirror
with the selector switch and adjust with the
four-way switch.
Folding Mirrors
For pedestrian safety, the exterior mirrors will
s
wing out of their normal mounting position if
they are struck with sufficient force. Reposition
the mirror by applying slight pressure to the
mirror housing. This feature is also useful to
reduce the total width of the vehicle to prevent
damages when the vehicle is parked. Push
the mirror back into the functional position
before driving.
