Operation
Y
ou may operate the power windows by
using the power window switches on each
door panel.
To open the window, press down on the switch.
To close the window, lift up on the switch.
Release the switch when the window reaches
the desired position.
Express Window Operation
Windows with an express-down or express-up
feature allow the window to be lowered or
raised without holding the switch. All the
windows have express-down and express-up.
Pull awindow switch up or push it down all
the way, release it, and the window goes up
or down automatically. Stop the window by
pushing or pulling the switch in the same
direction a second time or briefly operating the
switch to the first position in either direction.
Window Electronic Programming
Programming the power windows may be
necessary if the vehicle battery has been
disconnected or discharged. To program
the window:
1. Close all doors.
2. Turn the ignition switch on.
3
. Partially open the window to be
programmed, then close it and continue
to pull the switch briefly after the window
has fully closed.
4. Open the window and continue to press
the switch briefly after the window has
fully opened.
5. Repeat these steps for each window that
need to be programed.
Anti-pinch Function
If equipped, in case there is obstacle
detection while the window is closed in
express operation, the window will be opened
automatically for safety.
Caution
Anti-pinch function may not operate after
s
everal uses. Do not operate the window
switch with no purpose.
Express Window Anti-Pinch Override
I
n an emergency, the anti-pinch feature can
be overridden in asupervised mode. Hold the
window switch all the way up to the second
position. T
he window will rise for as long as the
switch is held. In this mode, the window can still
close on an object in its path. Use care when
using the override mode.

If the appeal Anti-Pinch is annulled the
w
indow may close on an object in its course.
Before to use the Anti-Pinch annulment,
make sure that no person or object is
obstructing the way of the window.
The misuse of power windows or
annulment of Anti-Pinch could result in
serious injury or death.
