Push the safety catch to the driver's side and

pen the bonnet.

When the engine is hot, ensure that you
o
nly touch the foam padding of the hood
support rod to avoid burning.
To keep the engine bonnet open, insert the
s
ustaining rod in the engine bonnet hole.
Closing
Before closing the bonnet, press the support
into the holder.
To close the bonnet, lower it gradually, let
it finally fall by its weight. Always make
shure if the bonnet was properly closed, trying
lift it. If it isn´t closed properly, repeat the
close operation.

Always observe the following precautions:

ull on the front edge of the bonnet to
make sure it is latched securely before
you drive your vehicle.
•
Do not pull the bonnet release handle
while your vehicle is moving.
•
Do not move your vehicle with the
bonnet open. An open bonnet will
obscure the driver’s vision.
•
Operating your vehicle with the bonnet
open can lead to acollision resulting in
damage to your vehicle, other property,
personal injury or even death.
Caution
Do not pull down on the bonnet when it is
s
upported by the rod.
