Which functions do the buttons right and left of the
display have?
The buttons on the left of the display are called line keys and
feature keys . On the right you can fi nd the session keys .
A session key is assigned to every call. Use the session key to take
calls, retrieve calls from hold or show call details.
How do I mute the ringtone of an incoming call?
Press the left side of the volume button once while the
telephone is ringing.
How do I change the ringtone?
1. Press the application key , use the navigation pad and
select button to scroll and select preferences and then ringtone.
2. Mark a ringtone and press the Play softkey

o sample.
Then confi rm your choice with the Set softkey
.
How do I change the wallpaper?
1. Press the application key , use the navigation pad and
select button to scroll and select preferences and then
wallpaper.
2. Mark your picture of choice and press the Set softkey
.
How can I recognize an incoming internal call or external by
the ringtone?
Internal call

TUphone and TISS
You can change a number of TUphone settings yourself using TISS or
have them changed by your TUphone administrator:

User ID/Name, ID, PIN, Password
In order to ensure privacy and secure use of your TUphone valid
authentication is necessary.
User ID/Name: as speci ed in TISS
(normally identical with the network account)
ID: your extension
PIN: choose your own PIN (minimum 5 characters)
Password: choose your own password (minimum 5 letters and 1 digit)
You may change your PIN and/or password at any time at
https://www.zid.tuwien.ac.at/passwort/
Cisco Unifi ed CM-User Options
Here you may use your browser to change a number of user
preferences online:

Fax Service
All TUphone participants have the option to use an online fax service
(for out-bound faxes): https://fax.tuphone.tuwien.ac.at/
Faxes to your extension are sent electronically to your email address
providing the fax service for your extension is activated.
Skype Gateway
All TUphone participants are reachable on Skype free of charge
via a gateway. Use the Skype client to locate and add the user
tuwien-ac-at to your contact list and enter the relevant extension
(or 0 for switchboard) when prompted and press the hash key to
redirect the Skype call.
