● Faulty Sensor
Phenomenon Cause Check Method Remedies
The presenter sensor or paper
return sensor is faulty.
Paper cannot be ejected.
Operation of the paper
returning section is faulty.
Replace “SA, SENSOR”.
The paper sensor is faulty. Replace “UNIT,
MECHANISM”.
The paper near end sensor is
faulty.
Check if the ERROR LED
lights up when the paper
ends.
Replace “SA PNE SENSOR”.
The sensor has fouling. Check the sensor for fouling. Remove fouling.
Paper presence or
absence cannot be
detected.
Paper near end cannot
be detected.
Paper cannot be fed
correctly.
Presenter error
The paper return sensor
is not activated.
Any of the connectors is not
connected correctly.
Check the connecting
condition of the connectors.
(CN108, CN107, CN502)
Connect the connectors
correctly.
● Auto Cutter Failure
Phenomenon Cause Check Method Remedies
The connector has a bad
connection.
Check the connecting
condition of the connector
(CN104).
Connect the connector
correctly.
The auto cutter is faulty. Measure the supply voltage
with a tester or oscilloscope.
If the supply voltage is normal,
replace the auto cutter with a
new one.
The auto cutter does not
operate.
Paper feed is faulty.
(paper jams)
Check if paper is jammed,
torn or caught in the paper
path.
Remove unnecessary paper
and set the paper correctly.
