6-2. Hex-dump Mode
1) Function
This function is used to print data sent from a host in hexadecimal with corresponding
characters.
2) Starting the hex-dump mode
Turn the power on while holding down the FEED switch with the paper set and the platen
opened, and then close the platen.
Alternatively, specify the dedicated command “GS(A”. After “HEX DUMP PRINT MODE” is
printed on the roll paper, received data is printed out in hexadecimal with corresponding
characters.

In the hex-dump mode, any command other than real-time commands is disabled.
When printed data is less than one line, printing is executed in the off-line mode.
3) Ending the hex-dump mode
Press the FEED switch three times consecutively.
“Completed” is printed out and paper is fed to the paper cut position. Then the printer is
reset.
Reset the printer by turning the power off or by the I/F signal.
