8.5 RAMP CHECKOUT PROCEDURE
This section contains a general system checkout procedure to verify the operation of
the RT-7000 PMR system installation. The following procedures are intended to
provide a high-level system assessment in the field to assure that system parameters,
selection/control, and transmit/receive functions are operating properly. This
procedure is intended to be used in the event that access to ground test equipment is
limited or not available. The manufacturer recommends that a more thorough system
functional assessment be conducted at least annually using the recommended ground
test equipment. Total time to perform the following procedure is approximately 1
hour.
These commodities, technology or software are controlled in accordance with the United States Export Administration Regulations, Export Classification
Control Number (ECCN) EAR99. When exporting, diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.
