2.5 Dealing for Nonuse for S80
When S80 is not in use, there is no special processing arrangement. Just follow the following
steps to store it:
Warning
⚫ Because urine is a fluid from people, there may be contagious and the biological risk.
Trained people are treated according to local regulations.
⚫ Handle carefully with the counting chamber and the urine containers which were
used.
⚫ When operating S80, pay attention to wear rubber gloves and other protective clothing.
1. Clean the instrument with disinfectant, close the S80 and PC host, and then disconnect the
line.
2. Discard the used counting chambers in the waste materials box.
3. Empty all the liquid in both barrels and clean them, pack them after drying, and keep the lids
open.
4. Fix the sampling module by set screws.
5. Clean S80 carefully and remove all removable elements. Package after drying in the same
state as before. If you want the instrument to return to normal operation, please refer to
steps in section 2.3 for instrument installation.
