If the ST450EC is used in a hazardous environment, the relevant regulations for explosion
hazardous equipment must be observed at all time.
Ensure at all times that the lid is properly closed to comply with all regulations for explosion
hazardous environments. Secure the lid, after hand tightening, with the lock nut located on
the outside of the housing.
The ST450EC is to a great extent immune to electromagnetic interference. Nevertheless the
ST450EC should be installed with an appropriate amount of distance from radio transmission
equipment or similar devices.
During installation the ST450EC should be isolated from local ground. The unit should only be
connected to ground through the screening of the connection cable (see chapter 2.2 - Cable
requirements and cable installation).
