Installing the water supply connection
1.
Flush the water connection on the on-site water line (Z).
2.
Install the sediment filter (X) and, if necessary, a water
treatment system (W).
3.
Install a separate shut-off device with a mesh strainer for
each unit (Y or Y
1
/Y
2
).
4.
Install an appropriate backflow preventer (V) in the water
supply line if required by local regulations.
5.
Connect the unit as shown in the ‘Connection drawing' on
page 64
.
6.
Flush the sediment filter under running water.
7.
Once you are done installing the water connection, close
the shut-off device.
8.
Inform the user of the maintenance intervals for the filters
and for the water treatment system (if any).
