The gauge is now in Trench Offset mode and ready to test.
Note: If M Count is lower than MS, then there is no influence
from the trench walls and trench offset is not necessary.
Note: When trench offset is enabled a Y on the gauge ready
screen will appear next to offset. Once a test begins, “T” will
appear on the screen, indicating Trench Offset mode.
3. Auto Scroll
The Auto Scroll feature allows for hands-free operation of the
gauge after a measurement has been obtained. When this
feature is enabled the test results will scroll from screen to
screen without the need to push the up or down buttons.
To enable this function:
1. Press MENU.
2. Press the 3 button for Auto Scroll.
3. Press YES to enable the feature.
After a measurement the screen will remind you that Auto Scroll
is enabled and after a few seconds the screen will change to
the results. Every 5 seconds the screen will display the next set of
results. Press the START/ENTER to begin a new measurement.
Note: Powering the gauge off will disable Auto Scroll
4. LCD Backlight
This feature allows for use of the gauge during night work. The
backlight will stay lit on the display and keypad for
approximately 20 seconds after a button is pressed.
To enable this feature:
1. Press MENU.
