High Voltage
This function measures the high voltage on the board.
This information is very important for trouble shooting the
gauge and enables our technicians to provide
instructions on the status of the gauge. Please note, this
measurement will not be available on Smart-MC with
the old density and moisture modules.
Check Temperature
This function measures the temperature in the gauge
to determine if inconsistency in results is due to high
temperature. This information is very important for
trouble shooting the gauge and enables our
technicians to provide instructions on the status of the
gauge.
Memory Reset
Only a trained service technician should do this; it will render
the gauge nonoperational and may require the gauge to be
returned to InstroTek. This function is used in case the gauge
requires extensive work or repair. Memory clear erases all
stored information and in effect resets the gauge to pre-
calibration factory defaults. The calibration constants will need
to be re-entered into the gauge.
Depth Sensor Test
This function measures the magnetic sensors at each depth to
ensure they are operational. This information is very important
for trouble shooting the gauge and enables our technicians to
provide instructions on the status of the gauge.
6. Drift Test
If there a consistent drift in the standard counts from count to
count or day to day, the electronics may have a drift problem.
This test monitors the long-term drift of the gauge. The drift test
