Routing from Audio Hardware
If using external audio hardware, such as devices enabled with Dante® Audio, route an analog
connection from the audio device to the camera.
If no analog output is available, Dante audio can be routed to the camera by using a Dante AVIO™
adapter (not included) with analog outputs along with an XLR to 1/8in. TRS Y-type adapter. Then route
your conferencing codecs or PC’s audio output to the virtual input of the Dante AVIO adapter to send
digital audio to the camera.
Similarly, the camera can be connected to an analog output available on your DSP with an appropriate
adapter. Reference your DSP’s manual or contact the vendor for the ideal specifications.
The camera requires a line-level signal on the Ref.Audio input and will work with stereo or mono audio
signals. Increase the volume level if the camera is not performing Echo Cancellation.
