4. Inputs
4.1 INP A, INP B

4.2 RESET
Dynamic reset input.

Static gate input:
Pulse counter: no counting while
active
Frequency meter: no counting while

Timer: display buffer func-
tion: while it is active,
the time measure-
ment is not dis-
played. When
counting stops, the
new value is updated
on the display
5. Outputs
5.1 Output 1
Relay with potential-free make (NO) contact
and PNP transistor (does not exist on de-
vices with 1 preset)
5.2 Output 2
Relay with potential-free changeover con-
tact and PNP transistor (becomes output 1
for devices with 1 preset)
5.3 Active Outputs
An active output will be shown on the dis-
play as or . For safety circuits
the relay or transistor outputs can be in-
verted, i.e. the relay will be de-energized or
the transistors blocked when the presets
are reached. To do so, the parameters S1
and S2 must be set to (for permanent
signal) or or (for timed signal).
6. Programming
6.1 Entering the programming
locked: (parameter „Ent.PRG Loc“) press
the Reset and Prog/Mode keys simultane-
ously within 15 s after applying the supply
voltage
free: (parameter „Ent.PRG UnLoc“) press
the Reset key and the Prog/Mode key si-
multaneously for 3 s
(see parameter 6.4.5.7 Programming lock)
The security prompt ap-
pears in the display
Programming can be exited
using the Prog/Mode key.
Press key T2 to continue with
the programming
The security prompt ap-
pears in the display
Enter the main menus by
pressing the Prog/Mode key
6.2 Selecting the main menu
The menus are selected using
the keys T2 (next) and T1
(back)
6.3 Entering a sub-menu
The sub-menu is opened with
the Prog/Mode key and the
first menu item is displayed.
