NOTE: Each of the high current connectors coming
from the motors are actually three separate
connectors that hook onto each other. They
can, but do not have to, be separated in
order to fish the connectors through smaller
openings.
See Figure 7.3.
NOTE: The high current connectors maybe locked
together. The lock must be pried out before
separating the individual connectors.
NOTE: A diagonal line can be drawn across the
three connectors to help ensure they are re-
assembled in the proper order.
7. Remove the socket head bolts and nuts that attach
the deck lift arms to the deck using a 3/16” hex key
and a 1/2” wrench.
See Figure 7.4.
8. Remove the bowtie clip that holds the front deck link
to the deck.
See Figure 7.5.
9. Slide the front deck link out of the deck.
10. Move the deck lift lever to the highest cutting posi-
tion.
11. Slide the deck out from under the mower. Be careful
not to damage the motor harness.
12. Install the deck by following the previous steps in
reverse order.
