Digital Outputs
The Tritex II 90 mm and 115 mm have 4 optically isolated digital
outputs. These outputs are sourcing only, they provide a positive voltage
when on. Each output can be assigned to any of the internal output
functions. (See Software Manual) Outputs are individually short circuit
protect at 500mA and thermally protected against overload. These
outputs can absorb the energy in an inductive “kick” at turn-off up to
0.5 Joule, so an external freewheeling diode would be needed only in
rare cases.
Do not overload outputs.
Outputs are rated at 100 mA continuous. An overloaded
output will cycle off and on to protect itself, which will send
an incorrect signal to other system components.
