5.6 Adjusting the alignment sensors
The device is equipped with a mobile sensor for the detection of the alignment black mark placed on the non-thermal side
of paper (located lower than the plane of the paper inside the device).
The device user will need to manually move these mobile sensor according to the position of the black mark on the paper
(see next paragraphs).
To use this sensor, you must set the “Black Mark Position” setup parameter on the “Bottom” value (see
paragraph 6.8).

In addition, the printer can be optionally equipped with a sensor for alignment black mark placed on the thermal side of
paper (located upper than the plane of the paper inside the printer).
This optional sensor can be placed on the left cursor or on the right cursor of the paper infeed. The sensor position is ad-
justed by moving the paper infeed cursors during the paper width adjusting.
To use this sensor for black mark detection, you must set the “Black Mark Position” setup parameter on the “Top Side”
value (see paragraph 6.8).
