N O T I C E
To prevent shield fracture, do not bend the cable too much or run the cable back and forth on the same path too tightly.
4.1.2 Strain Relief
If there is a possibility of tensile load on the cable, install it with a strain relief. When it is possible, the strain relief of the fieldbus
cables should not be done at the shield connection to ground. This may reduce the effectiveness of the bonding. The tensile load
and vibration can also damage the shield.
4.2 General Cabling Instructions for RS485
Use only shielded cables with twisted-pair signal wires.
