Data Capture
The Memor 10 has an integrated imager that collects data by
scanning bar codes.
See Scanner Settings on page 76 for instructions on configuring the
scanner settings.
Imager Data Capture
The imager uses digital camera technology to take a digital picture
of a bar code, the image is stored in memory and software decoding
algorithms are executed to extract the data from the image.
To scan a bar code symbol:
1. Point the scan window at the bar code.
2. Press one of the scan triggers. A blue-violet spot illuminates the
symbol, which is captured and decoded.
