A comfortable and relaxed sitting posture is crucial for ensuring that training with
the ergo_bike be effective and useful. Just like riding a bike, your back should
be straight and your legs should bend slightly at the knee when the pedals reach
their lowest point. This posture is illustrated in the drawing to the right.

6. Adjusting Saddle Height
Hold the saddle (13) firmly and pull the spring loaded tommy head (12a) out.
Either pull the saddle holder (12) with the saddle (13) up or push
it down to bring it to the required position.
Release the tommy head button (12a) and pull or push the saddle
holder (12) carefully until the tommy head button (12a) engages,
with a click sound, in the corresponding hole of the saddle
column (12). This engagement is visibly indicated by the red
button (12b) plunging into the tommy head button (12)! The red
button (12b) must not be sticking out of the tommy head! If this
is the case, then it indicates that the safety lock of the tommy
head (12a) is not properly engaged in the corresponding hole
of the saddle column!
Turn the tommy head button (12a) and tighten it firmly after the red
button (12b) engages.
7. Adjusting Saddle Angle and Position
The saddle angle is adjusted to ensure a confortable seating.
The saddle angle should nevertheless help support a correct
body posture while training.
Make a “sitting trial” very carefully, and if needed adjust the
saddle (13) again until it is in the adjusted as required. Then
tighten both of the right and left side nuts again.
The sitting position can be adjusted by mean of the sliding rail (12e)
of the saddle holder. This adjustment is to be carried out individually
through “sitting tests”. Loosen the tommy head (12b) underneath
the sliding rail and slide the saddle (13) to the required horizontal position.
After adjusting the saddle position retighten the tommy head (12b) firmly.

8. Adjusting the handle
When riding the ergo_bike your back
should be straight, your arms slightly
stretched and your hands resting loosely
on the handles.
The user should sit on the ergo_bike and loosen
the tensing lever (6a) on the dashboard column (6)
until it is possible to move the handle (7) by pushing
it lightly to another position.
Then adjust the handle (7) to the most comfortable
or preferred position that supports the body posture
described above.
Tighten the tensing lever (6a).
Loosen the tommy head (12a) on the saddle column (12) by one to two turns.

Loosen both the right and left nuts located under the
saddle (13) using the 14mm wrench, and bring the saddle
to the required angle by applying slight pressure.
The position of the handle, the height and inclination of the saddle and its position
must be adjusted to fit the user.
