482 Toggle RS-232/MIDI.
Press and hold <ID UP> and <ID DOWN> at power-up until "232"
appears in the 7-Seg Display.
Watch as the fourth digit in the display toggles from "1" to "0" or from
"0" to "1".
If the final result is "1" the system is set up to communicate with RS-232.
If the final result is "0" the system is set up to communicate with MIDI.
Let go of the buttons and normal resetting will continue.
The DriveRack™ units have the ability to update their operating systems
(OS) with the latest version available via the Internet. In able to perform
a flash download your PC must be able to receive/transmit information
through the RS 232 or MIDI connectors. The Flash download procedure
is as follows:
1. Connect the either RS 232 or MIDI output from your PC to the RS
232 or MIDI input of the DriveRack™.
2. Access the World Wide Web.
3. Go to www.dbxpro.com to access the latest OS version.
4. Download the latest OS version and all attached software.
5. Follow the detailed instructions from the website.
Start Flash Download Session (Front Panel 480 and 480R)
• Press and hold the PREV PAGE button on power-up until the
following message appears:
"WAITING FOR FLASH DOWNLOAD"
At this point, follow the flash download instructions to perform a flash
download.
Start Flash Download Session (Front Panel 481 and 482)
Press and hold the PROGRAM UP and ID DOWN buttons on power-
up until the following message appears:
"FLSH"
• At this point follow the flash download instructions to perform a flash
download.

Conmutación RS-232/MIDI en el 482.
Mantenga pulsado <ID UP> y <ID DOWN> durante el encendido hasta
que en la pantalla de 7 segmentos aparezca "232".
Fíjese cómo el cuarto dígito de la pantalla cambia de "1" a "0" o de "0" a
"1".
Si el resultado final es "1", el sistema estará configurado para comunicarse
mediante RS-232.
Si el resultado final es "0", el sistema estará configurado para comunicarse
mediante MIDI.
Deje de pulsar los botones y la reinicialización normal continuará.
Las unidades DriveRack™ tienen la posibilidad de actualizar sus sistemas
operativos (OS) con la última versión disponible a través de Internet. Para
poder realizar una descarga rápida, su PC debe ser capaz de
recibir/transmitir información a través de los conectores RS-232 o MIDI. El
proceso de descarga rápida es el siguiente:
1. Conecte la salida RS 2332 o MIDI de su PC a la entrada RS 232 o
MIDI del DriveRack™.
2. Acceda a Internet.
3. Vaya a la dirección www.dbxpro.com para tener acceso a la última
versión del OS.
4. Descargue la última versión y todo el software adjunto.
5. Siga las instrucciones detalladas que aparecen en la página web.
Inicio de sesión de descarga rápida (panel frontal del 480 y 480R)
• Mantenga pulsado el botón PREV PAGE durante el encendido hasta
que aparezca el siguiente mensaje:
"WAITING FOR FLASH DOWNLOAD"
En este punto, siga las instrucciones de descarga rápida para realizar una
descarga rápida.
Inicio de sesión de descarga rápida (panel frontal del 481 y 482)
Mantenga pulsado los botones PROGRAM UP e ID DOWN durante el
encendido hasta que aparezca el siguiente mensaje:
"FLSH"
• En este punto, siga las instrucciones de descarga rápida para realizar
una descarga rápida.
