5.6.8 Clean waste bucket
After every dispense, coffee residue (the coffee cake) is moved
into the waste bucket. Excess water from the brewer is captured
in a drip bucket, placed inside the waste bucket (B). If an
external waste bin is used, the waste bucket is replaced by a
waste guide (G) in combination with a fixed connection to the
waste water drain. The waste bucket / drip bucket or waste guide
needs to be emptied and cleaned regularly.
NOTE
If a fixed waste water connection is used, a drip bucket is not
needed.
Perform this procedure:
•
Daily (see Daily maintenance on page 47).
Perform the following steps:
1. Flip up the dispense arm with the outlet nozzles.
2. Depending on the used bucket types:
▪ B) Remove the waste bucket (with the drip bucket inside
it) from the machine, or
▪
G) Remove the waste guide from the machine.
3. Rinse the removed parts with clean warm water.
4. Dry parts completely.
