1. Introduction
1.1 About the Operator's manual
1.1.1 General purpose
This is the Operator’s manual for DEIF’s Compact Genset Controller, the CGC 200 series. The general pur-
pose is to give the operator important information to be used in the daily operation of the unit.
Please read this manual before working with the CGC 200 controller and the genset to be con-
trolled. Failure to do this could result in damage to the equipment or human injury.
The document includes information about push-buttons, LEDs, display readings and an icon list. Basic tasks
are described, as well as using the utility software to monitor operation.
1.1.2 Intended users
This Operator’s manual is mainly intended for the daily user. Using the information in this document, the oper-
ator will be able to carry out simple day-to-day tasks. The operator will also be able to monitor the system
using the utility software.
1.1.3 Revision information
The letter at the end of the document number on the front page indicates the revision number of this docu-
ment.
