When Default is selected (the default), Rate Delay is set
to 250 milliseconds (ms) and Rate is set to 15 characters
per second (cps). If you select the Override option, you
can adjust the Rate Delay and Rate categories to values
of your choice.
Video Mode
This category displays the type of video used by the
system.
Mouse
This category displays whether a mouse is Installed (the
default) or Not Installed.
Base Memory and Extended Memory
These categories display the amount of system memory
available as base memory and extended memory.
Advanced Menu Categories
This section explains each of the system setup categories
in the Advanced menu (see Figure 4-3). The Advanced
menu displays information about the type and speed of
the system microprocessor(s). The Peripheral Configura-
tion, Advanced Chipset Configuration, and Plug and Play
Configuration submenus are accessed through the
Advanced menu.
