Metal shield
Removing the metal shield
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your monitor.
2. Remove the stand.
3. Remove the back cover.
Steps
1. Peel back the tapes that secure the cables and metal shield to the display panel.

2. Disconnect the lightbar cables from the connector on the display panel and the system board.
3. Disconnect the keypad cable from the connector on the display panel and the system board.
