6 Check the result to conrm that the battery is charging.

Follow the steps to evaluate the health of the Chromebook battery, and check the discharge rate:
1 Disconnect the AC adapter from the Chromebook.
2 Turn on and sign in to Chromebook.
3 Open the Chrome browser.
