1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
3 Remove the rear cover.
4 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 18 in Removing the computer base.
Procedure
NOTE
: The status-light board includes an LED indicator for power and battery-status light/hard-drive activity light.
1 Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board cable from the status light board.
2 Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the status-light board to the computer base.
3 Lift the status-light board o the computer base.
