Remove the base cover.

Procedure
1 Remove the screw (M2x4) that secures the power-adapter port bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
2 Lift the power-adapter port bracket from the palm-rest assembly.
3 Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board.
4 Lift the power-adapter port, along with its cable, o the palm-rest assembly.
