NOTE: If there is only one solid-state drive in the configuration you ordered, you may install another solid-state drive in the
other M.2 slot. However, you need a solid-state drive bracket (sold separately) to install the additional solid-state drive.
Steps
1. Remove the screw (M1.6x2.5) that secures the solid-state drive mounting bracket to the 2230/2280 bracket slot on the
palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Lift the solid-state drive mounting bracket from the 2230/2280 bracket slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Place the solid-state drive mounting bracket into the 2280/2230 bracket slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4. Replace the screw (M1.6x2.5) that secures the solid-state drive mounting bracket to 2230/2280 bracket slot on the
palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
5. Install the 2230 solid-state drive or 2280 solid-state drive, whichever applicable.
