Option Description
Admin Password
Allows you to set, change, or delete the administrator (admin) password.
The entries to set password are:
● Enter the old password:

Press Enter once you enter the new password and again press Enter to confirm the new
password.
NOTE: Deleting the admin password deletes the system password (if set). The admin
password can also be used to delete hard drive password. For this reason, you cannot set
an admin password if a system password or hard drive password is set. Hence, an admin
password has to be set first if the admin password has to be used with system password
and/or hard drive password.
System Password
Allows you to set, change, or delete the system password.
The entries to set password are:

NVMe SSD0
Allows you to set, change, or delete the NVMe SSD0 password.
The entries to set password are:

Password Configuration
Allows you to configure a password.
Upper Case
Letter
When enabled, this field reinforces password must contain at least one
upper capital letter.
Lower Case
Letter
When enabled, this field reinforces password must contain at least one
lower capital letter.
Digit When enabled, this field reinforces password must contain at least one-
digit number.
Special
Character
When enabled, this field reinforces password must contain at least one
special character.
NOTE: These options by default are disabled.
Minimum
Characters
Defines the number of characters allowed for a password. Min = 4
Password Bypass
Allows prompts for system and internal hard drive password, when powered on from Off state.
The options are:
● Disabled—This option is enabled by default.
● Reboot bypass
Password Changes
Allows you to change the system password and hard drive password without the need of
administrator password.
