Installing the display hinges
Prerequisites
NOTE: The display hinge installation procedure is applicable only for Latitude 5320 laptop and not for the 2-in-1
configuration.
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the display hinges and provides a visual representation of the installation
procedure.
Steps
1. Lower the display hinges on the display assembly.
2. Replace the six (M2.5x3) screws to secure the left and right display hinges to the display back cover.
Next steps
1. Install the display assembly.
2. Install the battery.
