Removing the power button
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SIM card.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Remove the WWAN card.
5. Remove the battery.
6. Remove the heat sink.
7. Remove the system board.
NOTE: The system board can be removed with the heat sink attached in order to simplify the procedure and preserve
the thermal bond between the system board and heat sink.

Steps
1. Remove the two (M1.6x2.3) screws that secure the power-button assembly to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Remove the power-button assembly from the computer.
