Removing the Display-Hinge Cap
1. Follow the procedures in

2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the screws that secure the display-hinge cap to the computer and remove the display-hinge cap from the
computer.
Installing the Display-Hinge Cap
1. Align the display-hinge cap with the screw holes.
2. Tighten the screws to secure the display-hinge cap to the computer.
3. Install the battery.

2. Remove:
a) battery
b) display-hinge cap
c) base cover
d) base corner caps
3. Disconnect the antenna cables connected to the WLAN card and release it from the routing channel. Disconnect
the camera cable from the system board.
