Removing the Right I/O Board
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the access panel.
4. Remove the secondary hard drive.
5. Remove the hinge cover.
6. Remove the keyboard.
7. Remove the display assembly.
8. Remove the palm rest.
9. Remove the four screws that secure the right I/O board to the chassis.
10. Lift the right I/O board up and away from the computer.
Replacing the Right I/O Board
To replace the right I/O board, perform the above steps in reverse order.
Removing the Left I/O and IEEE 1394 Board
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
