Configure the HP-UX environment to match the following configurations based on the version of HP-UX
running on the server.
V 2 and Earlier
HP-UX version 11.21 and earlier does not require changes, however, a Cisco fabric with Persistent FCID
enabled is required to survive Dell Storage Center storage system failover or port rebalance.
V 3
HP-UX version 11.31 works best with Storage Center when Agile Addressing is enabled. With HP-UX
version 11.31,
Storage Center requires that Agile Addressing be enabled for proper failover of Storage
Center storage systems.
IBM AIX
Configure the following settings in the Compellent Object Database Module (ODM) Path Control Module
(PCM) for IBM AIX.

Microsoft Windows Server
The default value for Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 and later is 60 seconds. However, the timeout
value in Windows Server 2003 RTM is 30. Double-check that the timeout value for a Microsoft Server is
set to 60.
Ensure that the TimoutValue is set to 60 in the following Registry Editor location.
