Tuning in radio stations
n Giving station names to preset channels
Names of up to 8 characters can be input.

Tune in the preset channel you want to name.

Press and hold [TUNER PRESET].
The display switches to the station name input display.

Input the station name.
•For character input, see page 31.

Press [ENTER] or <1/3 ENTER >.
The characters you have input are entered.
•To give names to other stations, repeat steps 1 to 4.
Presetting FM/AM stations manually
A maximum of 8 characters can be input for the station name.

Tune in the station you want to preset.

Press [TUNER PRESET].
“Preset” menu appears.

Use ui to select “Add to Preset”, then press
[ENTER], <1/3 ENTER > or p.

Use ui to select the number to be preset, then press
[ENTER] or <1/3 ENTER >.
The reception frequency and reception mode are preset and
the display switches to the station name input display.

Input the station name.
•For character input, see page 31.
•If you do not want to input a station name, press [ENTER] or
<1/3 ENTER> without inputting anything else.
•If you make a mistake inputting, re-input the correct station name.
Whatever was previously input is overwritten.

Press [ENTER] or <1/3 ENTER >.
The characters you have input are entered.
•To give names to other stations, repeat steps 1 to 5.
