If the battery is lly charged, the remaining distance
displayed is that possible under average conditions.
If the conditions of the journey change, for example,
by riding up an incline, the value displayed can also
decrease at short notice. Please consider this factor
when planning your trips. In time you will nd out
what distances you can travel given your riding style
and other conditions. You are probably familiar with
this eect om the remaining distance indicator of
your car.

3.4 Pushing assistance
You can have your specialist cycle shop t what is known
as “pushing assistance” to your bike. Pushing assistance
can be tted on models up to 2012 but only to motors
without backpedal nction. They can also be tted on
models om 2013 which have motors with backpedal
nction.
The pushing assistance moves the Pedelec slowly (at a
maximum speed of 6 km/h) without you having to turn
the pedals, e.g. if you are manoeuvring in a tight space
or are pushing your Pedelec out of a basement garage. In
motors with backpedal nction, the pedal turn when you
use the pushing assistance. Mind that your legs do not get
in the way of the pedals as they turn. If something gets in
the way, the motor switches o and only reactivates if you
release and again press the pushing assistance button.
The pushing assistance is not suitable for use as
starting assistance.
4 Control panels:
Troubleshooting
The control panels also indicate when faults and technical
errors are present. If a problem occurs in the electrical
system of your Pedelec, you should initially try to solve it
by referring to the following lists which describe possible
causes of errors and oer solutions. If the fault persists,
consult your specialist cycle shop.
Have the electric drive inspected regularly by your
specialist cycle shop. Do not carry out any work on
the electric drive or battery yourself. Unless you have
sucient expertise this could lead to a serious ac-
cident. As a basic rule, always consult your specialist
cycle shop if you have a problem with the electric
drive or the battery.
You should only have the electrical components of
your Pedelec replaced with genuine parts. This makes
it safer for you and avoids problems when processing
warranty claims.
