5.4.2.2 Complete charge cycles
Press the blue Push button for ve seconds to show how
oen you have lly charged the battery to date. It is dis-
played as a multiple of c (short for cycles). Each time you
lly recharge an empty battery, this counts as one cycle.
Partial charges are not counted.
5.4.2.3 Error messaging and troubleshooting
The battery cannot be damaged as a result of a
short-circuit. If this were to happen, the battery
management would switch o the battery.
The battery management monitors and controls your bat-
tery. If an error arises, the word “Err” ashes. To nd out
which error it is, press the blue Push button for 15 sec-
onds. The code will appear.

Take the battery out of the charger
and put it back in aer a short
period. If the fault recurs, contact
your specialist cycle shop.
5.4.2 36 V battery
Charge state and battery capacity indicator
The 36 V battery (up to model year 2012) has a control
panel with ve LEDs. The displays are the same as for the
26 V battery, so please read ➠
Chapter 5.4.1 “26 V battery”.
From model year 2013, there is an LCD display panel and a
blue Push button on the side of the 36 V battery that faces
outwards. Press the blue Push button to display informa-
tion about the battery and its charge state in the display
panel.
5.4.2.1 Battery charge state
If you press the blue Push button briey, the charge state
in percent appears in the display panel. It is displayed in
1% increments. The higher the percentage, the higher the
current battery charge state. The lower the percentage,
the lower the current battery charge state. If the charge
state is less than 5%, the word Lo appears in the display.
