4.2 LCD control panel
DISPLAY CAUSE SOLUTION
No display The battery is not charged. Charge the battery.
Battery charge state
indicator ashing or
not visible
The battery is not suciently charged. Charge the battery.
E1 You have pushed down on the pedals shortly aer
pressing the POWER button.
Switch the display o and back on, then wait for
roughly two seconds before turning the pedals.
E2 Speed sensor defective. The motor only provides
emergency assistance.
Check that the speed sensor is in the correct posi-
tion on the rear wheel. Consult your specialist
cycle shop if necessary.
E3 Communication error between the battery, motor
and display.
Have a specialist cycle shop check the lines and
connectors for damage.
E9
A problem occurred in the drive unit. The distance
covered is not recorded. It will therefore no longer
be possible to adjust the assistance control and
the power assist will no longer work.
Contact your specialist cycle shop.
The active power-
assist mode ashes
slowly at rst, then
faster.
The drive unit is overloaded/overheated. The mo-
tor management has reduced the power assist as
a precaution.
Don't worry, a short period follows in which the drive
recovers aer which the ll assistance output is avail-
able once again. If this does not happen, contact your
specialist cycle shop.
