4.1 LED control panel
The LEDs ash in a specic pattern and with a specic
rhythm in the LED control panel. This indicates the cause
of the problem and makes it easier for you to nd a solu-
tion.
DISPLAY CAUSE SOLUTION
All battery charge state LEDs and all
power-assist mode LEDs ash alter-
nately.
No power assist. The power sensor could
not set itself correctly.
Perform restart. The system performs
the calibration again. No force should be
applied to the pedals during this proce-
dure which takes roughly two seconds.
First all battery charge state LEDs ash
twice and then all power-assist mode
LEDs ash once.
No power assist. A problem occurred in
the drive unit.
Motor, sensor unit or cable defective.
Contact your specialist cycle shop.
The currently selected power-assist
mode LED ashes slowly (at 0.5 Hz).
The motor output is less.
The motor is overloaded.
Allow the motor to cool down and reduce
the assistance.
The currently selected power-assist
mode LED ashes quickly (at 2 Hz).
The motor switches o.
The motor is extremely overloaded.
Allow the motor to cool down and reduce
the assistance.
The lowest battery charge state LED
ashes quickly (at 2 Hz)
No power assist.
The battery is nearly empty.
Charge the battery immediately.
The currently selected power-assist
mode LED ashes three times very
quickly.
Speed sensor defective. The motor only
provides emergency assistance.
Check that the speed sensor is in the correct
position on the rear wheel.
Incorrect position Correct position
Consult your specialist cycle shop if neces-
sary.
All battery charge state LEDs ash once
per second.
Communication error between the bat-
tery, motor and display.
Have a specialist cycle shop check the lines
and connectors for damage.
