Upgrading CVI3 controllers
Checking the firmware version with CVIMONITOR
Launch CVI MONITOR software from the launchbar on your computer desktop.
Type the IP of the relevant system and click "Select".
Click this icon to display information about the system.
Upgrading the firmware
Contact your Desoutter representative to get the last version of firmware.
On receipt of the .zip file, copy the content to a USB key. Unzip the file and copy/paste ".cvi3" and ".cvi3md5" files
on the root of the USB key.
Plug the USB key into the front panel port of the controller.
CVI3 Essential / CVI3 Function
From the start screen, press "Escape" to enter the "Control mode".
Keep pressing "Enter" up to the screen "USB".
Press "Enter" key up to the following screen.
Press "Enter" to validate.
CVI3 Vision / TWINCVI3
From the "Start screen", tap this icon to display the main menu.
Tap "Maintenance / Controller / USB".
Tap "Upgrade SW".
Finishing the procedure
The controller beeps during 2 seconds and starts the process.
Do not switch off the controller. Wait for the automatic reboot.
The update lasts a few minutes.
When the upgrade is finished, the green LED of the controller remains steady.
