Why Despatch LBB heater doesn't shut down until Hi-Limit setting?
    • J
      Judith HarrisonSep 12, 2025
If the heater in your Despatch Oven continues to run until it reaches the Hi-Limit setting, it could be due to a control instrument malfunction. Verify the control parameters and replace the control instrument if there is no output. Another possibility is an SSR Relay malfunction; if control output exists, replace the relay.

What to do if Despatch Oven will not control at Setpoint?
    • C
      Carla AlexanderSep 13, 2025
If your Despatch Oven will not control at the setpoint, it could be due to several reasons. The Hi-Limit instrument might be set too low; try setting it higher. A control instrument malfunction could also be the cause; check control parameters before replacing the instrument. Additionally, air friction from the recirculation fan can prevent proper control; open the exhaust air vent, as the unit will not control at the minimum operating temperature with the vent(s) closed.
