UNPACKING
Carefully remove the apex® Digital Clinical Scale from the shipping carton and inspect it for
any damage that may have taken place during shipment. Keep and use the original carton and
packing material for return shipment if it should become necessary. The purchaser is
responsible for filing all claims for any damages or loss incurred during transit. Remove all
plastic wrapping, foam fillers and cardboard material from scale platform, display and other
components. You should have the following components:

c Column with attached Display
d Scale Base
e Scale Base Cover
f Optional AC Power Adapter
apex®-sh (with sonar height rod)
c Column with attached Display and Sonar Bracket
d Column Cover
e Scale Base
f Scale Base Cover
g Sonar Height Rod
h Optional AC Power Adapter
APEX (with Inline Height Rod) ASSEMBLY
TOOLS REQUIRED:
3/16” Allen wrench
1. Place the scale base on a level floor.
2. Locate the scale base cable and pull it out of the base and under the wheel’s axle.
3. Install the column cover onto the column.
