Blood Glucose
(BG) Value
Blood glucose value is the amount of glucose in the blood
measured by a BG meter.
Bluetooth A technology that allows devices to wirelessly communicate
with each other.
Caution
The special care necessary for the safe and effective use of
the Stelo Glucose Biosensor System and the care necessary to
avoid damage to the device that may occur as a result of use
or misuse.
Compatible Works with the Stelo Glucose Biosensor System. A
smartphone and operating system is compatible with the
Stelo System when Dexcom has tested it to ensure it works as
designed with the Stelo Glucose Biosensor System.
Continuous
Glucose
Monitoring (CGM)
A sensor inserted under the skin checks glucose levels in
interstitial fluid and sends sensor readings to a smartphone.
Contraindication A situation where the Stelo Glucose Biosensor System
shouldn't be used because it may be harmful to you. The risk
of use outweighs the benefit.
Default A manufacturer’s preset option for a smartphone setting.
Display Device A device with a screen used for monitoring your glucose
information, for example, a smartphone app.
