Travel with the Stelo Glucose Biosensor System
Issue
You want to use the Stelo Glucose Biosensor System when going through security or
flying.
Solution
TSA Security check point
You can wear your Stelo Glucose Biosensor when going through walk-through metal
detectors and Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) body scanners. Or you can ask for
hand-wanding or a full-body pat-down and visual inspection. Ask for visual inspection
of any part of the Stelo Glucose Biosensor System in the baggage scanning machine.
Most security check points require you to temporarily give up your smartphone.
Prepare for airport security checks and screening procedures for your air travel.
Review airport website and travel updates before your trip.
On the plane
To use your app to get sensor glucose information while on the plane, switch phone to
airplane mode, then turn Bluetooth on.
Contact your airline for their policies. Always follow instructions from the airplane
crew while on the plane.
