carrier download fails and an error message is displayed, try checking the following things:
n Check for errors in the event log; verify that the FTP download did not report errors.
n If using FTP, verify that enough flash space is available. Required size varies by carrier; you may
need anywhere from 40 to 62 MB available.
n If using FTP, verify that you can ping the location ftp1.digi.com.
n If not using FTP, verify that the images are available in flash or USB. For example, for updating
the Verizon carrier firmware on a Sierra Wireless MC7455 module, the files car_7455.txt,
verizon.cwe, and verizon.nvu must be available.
